The current location is closed while the owners build out a larger, but still small, brewery in downtown Marion. Looking forward to checking out the new digs. Full disclosure, I give middle ratings without enjoying the old place. But wanted to relate the current status.

This is possibly the only place to get really good beer in Marion. It's a big place, with lots of open space and seating and a long walk from the door to the bar. Currently they only brew a few beers themselves, and they were pretty good. The food is good, which I understand was an issue initially. The beer selection itself is the best part, and I've gotten plenty of fantastic craft at a great price point. There's a sizable list of both draft and bottles / cans from lots of great breweries nationwide. Servers are good, fast and friendly every time I've been.
Honestly, if you're in Marion, it's very much worth checking our for beer, and a good place for dinner generally as well.

A total of 16 taps, but only two were house beers. The guest beers ranged from Blonde from Old Firehouse to an 18% Expresso beer from Harpoon. The two house beers on tap were Caledonia Red and Mistress Double IPA. Both were good. It's a large venue with an extensive food menu with wood fired pizzas being featured. Co-located in the venue is To Die For Gourmet Cupcakes. I can attest to the fact that they are excellent.

First to review this place . . .
29 brewpub and wood fired pizza
Advertises as a brewpub. However, at the time of my visit and review there was no beer brewed on site (waiting on license). Pretty bummed about this from the start. Hopefully they'll have some good stuff on draft . . . Selection was ok. Nine different taps on hand. A few solid selections from Stone, Sierra Nevada, Thirsty Dog but past those the selection was nothing to get excited about.
Service was good and the waiter was a nice enough guy. Don't think anybody working that day was very knowledgeable about the beer they had at the moment.
Pizza was probably the best part of our visit. Although not the best wood fired pizza I've had it was still pretty good.
I hope this place can stay in business and get their brewpub up and running.
