Draft at the brew pub in playa del Carmen
Big creamy foamy head, good retention and lacing, semi hazy golden tan color
Nose bright citrus, classic Cascadian like hops with citrus and little grapefruit, hint of pine and spice, then some tropical like dried candied pineapple, sweet malt, little grainy hint sweet, little minerality
Taste fair bitterness out front, hops bring more spicy citrus and pine, citrus and pine sap oil, creamy wheat and light grainy malt, a little grapefruit push and candied pineapple again, drier finish with higher bitterness and spicy grassy hop lingering
Mouth is med bod, med carb
Overall not bad, hits the style well but not quite my particular taste for hops with the spicy pine and not much malt to balance, but still a well done beer
