Cool old building by the train station, a few block from the gulf of Mexico... looking like it might have once been a bus station. Long straight bar perpendicular to the entrance on the left seats about 15 with some tables about the room and on the covered porch. Friendly bartender. Food in from a different vendor was very nice.

Arriving after dark, the building glowed with an inner light. We entered to a welcoming pub with a pleasant bartender. A chalk written chart lists their brews with the requisite info and a description. Pleasant atmosphere, good selection.

A great place to hang out in Downtown Gulfport. Good local beer and decent service. Not too big: just a bar, a few tables, and some games (ping pong, giant Jenga). They usually have most of their brews available on tap.

Really enjoyed visiting their taproom. Since i visited before the official taproom opening (ms law will take effect on july 1 to officially allow them to sell pints) their selection was slightly limited, only 5 or 6 beers on tap. But of the beers they did have, they were all outstanding. Can see myself visiting more often for sure.

Chandeleur is in a really cool area of Gulfport near the beach. It's a couple blocks from some fun eateries and bars, too. The bartender was very helpful in our selections. The view inside the bar looks onto the brewing area; nicely constructed. We had a great tour, too. Very well kept place. Lots of pride here. Tasty brews with some "brewery only" styles to try. When in Gulfport, make sure you catch this coastal hangout.

As a seasoned brewery aficionado, i would like to recommend chandeluer. Unfortunately Mississippi laws are archaic and you can only visit the brewery on limited days and can not bring growlers to fill. The ambiance is cool, old warehouse. The beers are solid. Usually an ipa man (both the ipa and dipa were solid) but really took a liking to their kolsch.
The bbq place next door "murky waters" and the "half shell oyster house" both serve their beers on tap.
The brewmaster tells me they are canning soon and will be able to sell in stores this summer.
I am in the area for military training and always support local breweries. This is not one to miss.
The tour comes w 36 oz of beer for $10.
