Pours a nice dark golden color. I can't place the smell. For a tipa I was expecting something else though. This is a high ABV brew and the alcohol is overwhelming. Not a good balance. It's bitter which I don't mind. I get notes of coconut, a little apricot. It isn't on the sweeter side like some TIPAs, which I like. The taste starts to grow on me but I think that's because the beer opens up as it warms. Nice carbonation.
