From a growler into a nonic pint.
L- Cloudy, burnt-copper with a thin white head. No lace.
A- Sweet caramel, apple cider, fuesil alcohol, and a touch of piney/earthy hops.
T- Much like the smell with a tinge of hop bitterness. Well balanced...
M- Low-Medium carbonation. There is a slightly drying resinous hop-bitterness toward the end of the drink that makes it inviting.
O- While this brew is rough around the edges, I think that it's got the platform for a really solid wet-hop APA. With slightly higher atenuation, body and some clarity Brewers Gold would be an awesome east coast pale. This is something that would go great with chicken wings, spicy lettuce wraps, or a cheese board. Complimentary flavors would be maple, apple, and cinnamon.
