On tap at Mountain Rambler Brewery
A: Pours super dark brown with a faint mahogany hue and a frothy khaki brown head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Resinous pine and peppery spice, roasty malt, a little tropical and dried stone fruit, a bit of char, and toffee/burnt sugar sweetness.
T: Roasty, a little char, resinous pine, peppery rye spice, underlying tropical and dried stone fruit, peach, apricot, plum, and a hint of passion fruit, with a little burnt sugar sweetness.
M: A little on the fuller side of medium body, slightly prickly moderate carbonation.
O: Rock solid Black IPA. Rye gives it such a great balance with the fruity notes.
