The beer is classic of the flavors found in other great Vienna Lagers. However, done the BBC way, it's quite hoppy. The beer boasts a deep copper hue with a 1/2" foamstand that accompanied me to the bottom of the glass, leaving concentric rings of lacing behind. Soft malt aromas are quicky met with bittering American hops. Tastes very soft of maltiness, toastiness, and a touch of syrup to keep the hop intensity at arms length. Moderately full and rich texture reamins soft, edging on a velvety feel. Clean finish, assisted by hop dryness and crispness. A good beer, if you don't mind the unique hoppiness within.
