Had this on tap at the first Burgers & Beers Thursday at the Party Source. It was hand-delivered by the brewmaster at BBC and he said they had only kegged it the day prior. Served in a 3 oz. plastic cup.

A: Brown with a decent sized head. Pretty hazy as expected.

S: Not a whole lot going on but it was served pretty cold. A little yeast and malt.

T: Tasted pretty much like a hefe. The most prominent flavors were clove and yeast. I didn't really get much else.

M: Felt good in the mouth and smooth going down.

D: I would have gone back for more but it didn't seem they were giving more samples of it. This would be a good warm-weather beer.

On tap at the brew-pub on August 14, 2007. Brewed on June 12.

Appearance is clear (?!) dark amber over a small off-white head with light lacing. Where's the hazy wheat-beer look? This is filtered? "Dunkel-kristall-weizen?"

Smell is clovey, raisiny, with a slight hint of banana, over a solid bready malt foundation.

Taste is better than the smell. Quite spicey-clovey, with a hint buttery banana, over a toasted raisin-bread malt base. Nice.

Mouthfeel is a bit thin.

Very drinkable, easy going, and sessionable.
