Poured from a bottle into a stemmed Tulip glass;
Bottle marked '9/77 Brewmaster'
A - Beer poured with barely any head; very thin in appearance; rarely seen that before; body has a color of dark amber hue; slightly cloudy and has some lacing but doesn't stick to the glass very much
S - A spiced beer for sure; spiced notes come up very quickly; the smell is fruity and pleasant, but about the only characteristic I really liked; apples, cinnamon, and banana scents come up very quickly; back-end hops; smells like the Christmas holidays
T - Fruits like apple and cinnamon are faint compared to the enormous amount of banana that comes up; that's really all I pretty much tasted; slightly malty and kinda flat; doesn't really taste much like a beer and more like a fruit drink; drinks follows up with a buttery aftertaste
M - The beer feels thin and flat; not much of a bubbly feel to it; the beer also doesn't have any consistency other than a watery liquid feel
D - OK drink; very average, probably a very generous grade for it even though it really didn't taste like a beer; its a nice seasonal drink that should only be enjoyed during the holidays; chances are if I had another shot at this again I would probably pass
