A: Pours a clear gold with a clinging white head.
S: Aromas of pine, spruce, citrus, and biscuit are present on the nose.
T: Notes of pine, spruce, lemon, bitter orange, lime, kumquat, caramel, and biscuit wash across the palate. The finish is sticky and bitter with a blend of citrus, pine, and biscuit notes.
M: Oddly light-bodied for the style. Very sticky. Carbonation is a little weaker than expected, but this could be a result of being in the growler.
O: This is a promising IPA and I hope they plan on bringing this one back in the near future. If the mouthfeel gets a little thicker and future batches have firmer carbonation, this will be a fantastic local IPA.
