A: Pours a brilliant, clear gold with a puffy white head that sticks around for quite some time, leaving a moderate amount of lacing in the glass.
S: Intense aromas of lemon, lime, kumquat, grapefruit, pine, biscuit, and crackers are present on the nose.
T: Notes of lemon, lime, bitter orange, kumquat, grapefruit, fresh herbs, pine, orange blossoms, grass, minerals, biscuits, and crackers wash across the palate. The finish is dry and clipped with mild notes of lemon, lime, herbs, pine, and biscuits.
M: This is where this beer really shines. The body is light and dry. Carbonation is firm and crisp without being too intense. Incredibly drinkable.
O: A nice, sessionable hop-forward ale. I'm normally somewhat unimpressed with BBC's stuff, but this is quite approachable. I especially appreciate the use of Palisade in this ale. Worth checking out. I hope they brew this one again in the near future.
