Iron Flamingo’s I.P.A. balances four types of hops and a large grain bill to create a truly balanced brew. The hop presence exists from the first sip to the last, yet is never overwhelming. This IPA has body, great mouthfeel and an incredible finish.

Had one for lunch at The Corning Museum of Glass.
Too much head! It was difficult to decant. Must have been a poorly conditioned batch. Both me and my pal Al each had 1 bottle, and it was impossible to get a decent pour. Flavors were alright -not much hop nose. By the time the foam calmed down the beer was warm.

On tap at the source.
Slightly hazy yellow with a thin white head. Lots of citrus and pine with a sweet bready backbone. Hints of astringency but otherwise serviceable.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Scent has a small amount of hops but a large amount of rye style maltyness. Flavor is heavy on malt with a light amount of citrus. Decent IPA for malty/rye IPA fans, but it would be a lot better with more up front citrus and bitterness.

On tap at Donnelly's Public House in Fairport, NY.
This one pours a dark orange-ish amber color, with a small head, and a ton of sticky lacing.
Smells like pine resin, grassiness, a little bit of grapefruit, and bready malt.
This is definitely a no-frills IPA. It does nothing new, I really get nothing that every other small brewery has ever done. That doesn't mean it doesn't taste good, though. There's some pine and grassiness, a bit of bready malt, and very little fruitiness.
This is medium bodied, with a crisp and biting mouthfeel, and a moderate level of carbonation.
This certainly has potential, but it's not there yet.

9/25...pours cloudy orange copper with fizzy fast white foam. Light resin-y pine nose. Subtle. Hearty malt and bitter combo, with a slight lemon tart taste. Citrus, and a firm carbonated mouthfeel.
