Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden amber color with a small head of white foam. The head fades fast, leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is surprisingly light overall, consisting of a little bit of a grainy and caramel smell mixed with some light tropical and citrus fruits as well as a little bit of herbal and earthy hop.
Taste – The taste begins with a cracker malt flavor mixed with some caramel malt and a little bit of tropical fruit. At the same time there is a nice grapefruit and pine hop taste upfront, both of which remain strong throughout. Other light fruit tastes of apricot come later on and are joined by more hop of pine and some herbal hop. The alcohol is well hidden on this one, with just a light touch in the flavor. With a touch of grain and a little bit of lemon joining at the very end, one is left with a very easy and clean, but big hopped-up taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel -The body of the brew is lighter for and imperial of its strength with a carbonation level that is low. With the low alcohol taste this is a dangerous, very easy drinker.
Overall – A rather fun and dangerous imperial IPA. One to at least give a go too.

On-draught @ Red Horn:
An underwhelming IIPA with a full hop profile and not much hop pungency given the style.
Definitely drinkable though.

Deep amber color with small head. Great citrus and pine on nose. Full flavor double IPA does not disappoint. Leaning on the citrus side but bitter is also a large component. Medium-full body and medium carbonation.
