Hazed gold with a finger of off-white head. Quickly settles into a crown and leaves very little lacing.
Clear watermelon in the aroma. Maybe a little basil behind. Not particularly sour.
Intense watermelon flavor with appropriate sourness and saltiness. The basil, again, is comparatively muted, but combines with the wheat to mellow out everything.
Really thick and chewy feeling for a gose. Moderate carbonation shows mainly upon swallowing.
Really well-balanced. Hard to imagine wanting more from a watermelon-basil beer.
