Shout out to my homie Chad for getting me a crowler!!
So I'm not going to lie I had high expectations for this beer. It pours a deep blue purple color with more clarity than I would like for the style, maybe no oats not enough lactose I dunno, need mas proteins...a pretty fluffy bone white head that dissapates quickly from the aforementioned. The aroma is with citra hops up front a little blueberry syrup maybe a touch of vanilla in the back no fusel alcohols at all. Without adjective overkill the flavor is a pretty prominent blueberry with minimal hop bitterness and a vanilla that is well done and keeps it from being acidic but not overpoweringly sweet, huge plus is the zero alcohol coming through at 8.3 this shit drinks like it's 6.3, well fucking done I really mean it, everyone makes these high abv trash malty ipas and it needs to stop. My biggest issue is the mouthfeel, it's just missing the mark, overall the carbonation is right and makes it smooth but I just want more body, just because it's moderate carbonation doesn't make it creamy. Overall it's good, I'll order in a bar but I'm not going to chase it. Redhorn keep truckin!
