Collaboration with Turning Point Beer
Leading into our annual Texas hoppy beer party, Hoppin' the Suburbs, we decided to hold an ingredient draft with three of our favorite IPA breweries.
To brew this big boy we brought in our friends from Turning Point Beer. They seem to know something about brewing a hazy IPA.
This double NE IPA is brewed with Texas grown barley from Blacklands Malt, malted oats, dextrin, and flaked wheat. For a bit of color and mild tartness, we dropped in some cut and dried hibiscus flowers. Oh yeah, and copious amounts of Galaxy, Sabro, and a dash of Cashmere Cryo hops.
Pineapple and coconut notes jump out against a creamy oat canvas.
