Two years in the making, Texas Hippie Sauce is a 100% Mixed Culture fermented sour ale.
We took a wild fermented golden ale base and blended in California white wine grape must, pureed pineapples, pears, apples, strawberries, and a splash of cherry puree for color.
We allowed the fruit to re-ferment in a neutral barrel for over a year before allowing the beer to naturally carbonate in the kegs.
