Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden color with a two-finger head of foam. The head has moderate retention, fading to leave some streaks of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is light overall, consisting of some caramel and a little bit of a graininess and a touch of cereal. Along with these smells comes a light toast and a bit of harvest fruit.
Taste – The taste is rather light, consisting of a light grainy and cracker malt flavor mixed with a little bit of caramel malt and a touch of corn. These tastes last throughout and are joined by a touch of hay and a little bit of herb at the very end.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is super light and crisp with a carbonation level that is moderate.
Overall – An alright light lager with a crisp easy drinking taste and feel. Good for a hot summer Texas day.
