The second addition to what we've dubbed in house as the "Grandma Series" is inspired from our Head Brewer's paternal Grandmother, Laverne.
Laverne is revered within the family for her many desserts, the most popular of which is a dense frosted chocolate cake, otherwise known as a Texas Sheet Cake.
Love, Verne is a big, pillowy imperial stout that incorporated dark cocoa powder and Texas Sheet Cakes directly in the mash, and is conditioned on organic cacao nibs.
The result is a dark chocolaty beer that is a perfect indulgence whenever a craving hits.
