Served on tap in a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a very hazy yellow-orange color with a one finger head of light foam. The head fades rather fast, leaving a small lace film on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is quite big of tropical fruits of pineapple and tangerine, mixed with some bready smells as well as notes of melon and grape juice. At the same time there are smells of grapefruit and herbal hop as well as a touch of harvest fruit.
Taste – The taste begins with a tropical fruit flavor mixed with a somewhat more bready taste. These flavors are matched by some grapefruit and dank herbal hops as well as a little bit of melon and pine. As the taste advances the tropical increase a bit, all while the hop increases as well, and with a bit of doughiness and some more dankness, a rather enjoyable and decently hopped up hazed taste is left on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is slightly more chewy with a carbonation level that is low. For the style and the taste the feel is rather nice and makes for a rather rich, but very approachable and flavorful sipper.
Overall – A pretty good hazy overall and at least worth a try if you get the chance.
