The colour is dark gold (15 EBC), the liquid is clear. The very high head is pale beige. It sinks very slowly leaving lots of lacing.
The smell is quite malty. Rye bread. Ale yeast. It is quite dry. Cooked vegetables. Some metallic bitter notes. Apricot jam. It doesn’t feel 100 % fresh.
The taste is semi-sweet. Lots of pale ale malt and some caramel. Rye bread. Some dried exotic fruits. Low to medium body. The aftertaste got some creamy apricot jam flavours. Mild bitterness with some hayish hops. More grass and hay in the finish.
The carbonation is medium strong, the medium sized bubbles are fresh. The liquid is semi-dry.
