Hazy amber orange color with a thick three fingers head with eternal retention and leaving laces.
Aroma with lots of spices, notes of anise, cardamom, oranges and brown sugar.
Flavor with notes of oak, star anise, cardamom, orange marmalade, cloves, crystalized fruits, brown sugar, herbal hops and banana. Dry aftertaste with a mild to medium bitterness.
Full body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 9.2% is very well hidden.
Very phenolic Belgian Strong Ale with lots of star anise and cardamom. Worth trying.
