I thoroughly enjoyed this one, despite some reservations about the 'macadamia' part of it. A great, rich creamy head led to a gloriously smooth body with good toasty, chocolatey flavour. A nice hop balance and good coffee nose only added to the pleasure.
An immense pint, great with my aged-beef cheeseburger. Thankfully it was cellared and poured at moderate temperatures, and was good to the last drop. Would do it again in a heartbeat, with the sole reservation that its high alcohol content precludes me having a second too soon after.

On tap @ the source for Grand Pre during SDBW.
A: Pours black with a faint mocha head along the rim which leaves spotty lace.
N: Trace aroma mostly roast with some mild coffee. Nuts not present.
T: This is where the macadamia nuts shine. Nearly spot on perfect flavor.
M: Full body and sem-moderate carbonation. Good mac nut finish.
O: Flavor is exact, but one dimensional. Runner up in Lap 2 for me.
