On tap at CBC 2015, 1st beer of the 1st session.
Side by side with Vietnamese coffee speedway which has been my favorite non barrel aged variant so far.
A bit underwhelmed but this one, given than Speedway variants have always been among my favorite imperial stouts.
The coconut was quite faint though still present in the nose and in the mouth. It didn't bring much to the beer, apart from hiding the complexity from the coffee.
Good, but not great.

On tap @ the source for the Vietnamese Speedway bottle release.
A: Pours dark black with a 1/4-inch off-white head which fades slowly to the rim leaving spotty lace.
N: Tropical coconuts, roasted coffee, dark chocolate, faint vanilla and wood.
T: Follows nose with a very well balanced blending of components.
M: Full body and semi-medium carbonation. Robust, creamy, roasted coffe and clean coconut finish.
O: A major treat. Oh yeah!
