On draft at Alesmith.
Frothy foam head around the edge of glass upon pour. Aroma had a big coffee presence, not unlike the regular BAVSS. Coffee, vanilla are present in the flavor. Barrel presence is there as well (although not as much as regular BASS). Very smooth and balanced. Great beer.

Black, half inch medium brown head
Nose: dark chocolate and coffee dominate with bourbon undertones.
Taste: Sweet salted caramel up front along with coffee, dark chocolate. Barrel comes in on the finish.
Full-bodied, appropriately low carbonation. Very smooth.
