I love you, Alesmith, but stick to what you do best. This is not a good example of a hazy IPA. It’s very generic and plain, and just tastes artificially flavored.

Had a pint at the Local in Astoria after a milkshake IPA. The bracing dry bitterness was a welcome change of pace and I think the lack of backsweetening led to a brighter more distinct hop character. It's grapefruit, orange peel, lemon, a little peachy, and herbal cracked pepper. It's a big, delicious IPA. Hazy, not juicy, but still awesome and true to the West Coast. Try this beer if you find it.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a super hazy and murky orange- basically like orange juice, with a small head, and a good bit of lacing.
This smells like sweet and juicy orange, with slight grass/chive, and pink grapefruit.
This is definitely not the IPA wheelhouse of either Alesmith or Beachwood, but it's still a really solid go at it. There's basically no bitterness, and that would help. There's just a hint of grassiness here, but tons of juicy and sweet orange mostly, and sweet grapefruit. It's slightly muddled, but it's definitely taste with a lingering juiciness.
This is light bodied, a bit creamy, with a normal level of carbonation.
This is tasty, but it does slightly reek of a brewery who doesn't do this style very often.
