The original Wafflesmith was a standout at the 2017 Speedway Grand Prix so the BA version was something I really looked forward to for 2018. For the most part, it holds up to expectations. The addition of barrel richness tones down the flavor a little and the beer loses some of the punch that the non-aged version has. That said, this is still a great beer and the aging transforms the original version into something completely new and awesome.
