Had on tap during Alesmith's BA day (11/4/18) as part of SDBW.
Im always a sucker for a Gin BA beer. Mostly because its tough to find and even tougher to find a good one. This, my friends, is a good one. Since gin has a notoriously spruce, pine sort of taste its hard to find a good beer to pair it with but Horny Devil answers the call in heroic fashion. The sweet, yeasty notes of the beer are toned down perfectly by not only the richness of the barrel but the spice of the lingering gin flavor.The result is a beer thats mildly sweet, subtly spicy and deceptively strong; you could easily knock back a few of these before you realize you cant get off your bar stool without help.
