2023 760ml bottle - aged 7 years in red wine barrels
Brown with a red hue.
Nose and flavor is largely red wine and oak. The quad base falls into the background.
light body oily feel.
If you are looking for a quad, you'll be disappointed. On the other hand, if you are interested in a seven year barrel experiment, you are in luck. No flavorings, just barrel and beer.
I think it's quite good.
