Appearance: Pours a only slightly clouded (95% clarity), medium orange color with a strong white head that lingers. SRM of 6-7. (3.50)

Aroma: Moderate aromas of orange, tropical pineapple, berries, and some mango. Lots of marmalade. Aroma is reisnous and sweet. (3.50)

Flavor: Moderate flavors of orange, marmalade, tropical notes, and some sweet pineapple and berries. Resinous and sweet to finish. (3.50)

Feel: Medium to heavier bodied. Lower carbonation. Leans resinous and sweet like marmalade that lingers. (3.75)

Compared to Evil Twin IPA is like a Beautiful Melody, Only the Lyrics are Messed Up 6/7/22: Pours clearer, stronger head. Milder aromas. More resinous and marmalade flavors. Less juicy, less hazy. Winner: Evil Twin

Overall: A sweeter leaning IPA, but not sure I would call it a hazy. Doesn't pour hazy, not that juicy, but rather resinous and sweet. Sweet pineapple, mango, berries, like marmalade. The resinous flavor sort of reminds me of Lagunitas IPAs. However, it not very hazy or juicy, so called it a hazy IPA is a bit of a stretch. I think BeerAdvocate is correct in not listing this as a NEIPA, but rather an IPA. (Rating: 3.58)

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Slightly opaque body, but with a real mix of glowing pale amber and orange, and even hued lemon yellow colors in the glass. Crawling fine slow rising carbonation, meeting to a bright bleach white three finger classic head. Island top center as it settles with big soapy fine retention. Lots of pill and scattered lacing throughout, good looking IPA.

Good simple and spicy hop angle. Tropical light touches of pineapple mango character, but a nice mixing herbal spice to go with it. Pleasant hint of sweetness also in the mix almost kind of creamy sensing. Whipped up and nearly milky, quite a nice tropical hop aroma.

Palate sticks more to basics than spectacularity. Crisp malt bill, even hinting some sweet biscuit cookie. Mid palate of tropical mild, a little bit of cut grass and herb also in the hop profile too. Spicy finish, with some good zesty citrus oils on the aftertaste. Milk like sweetness but not in the lactose vein too.

Neat tasting IPA with a unique but not spectacular profile.

Pours a bright hazy golden yellow with a creamy white cap of a head.
Tropical hop aroma - mango, citrus, hints of coconut and just a touch of dankness on a grassy malt backing.
Crisp citrus bitterness/orange rind up front on the palate with mango, tropical sweetness, a kiss of coconut. Malt has some caramel sweetness and a solid grassy note.
Bright medium mouthfeel with brisk carbonation and a finishing tropical citrus bittersweetness.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass

A: Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and leaves plenty of nice lacing.

S: Big time tropical and stone fruit, juicy citrus, a hint of red berries, subtle coconut, faint grassy notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness,

T: Bright tropical and stone fruit, peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, and passion fruit, red berries, nice hit of juicy citrus, orange, lemon, and lime, a touch of coconut, slight grassy herbal notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.

O: I've been wanting to try this one for a while, so I snapped some up as soon as I saw it hit town. I'd call it more of a juicy IPA than a hazy IPA, but that's splitting hairs. Really nice bright tropical IPA with a few unique touches. Great summer sipper.

a cool new one from these guys, been awhile since i have seen or had anything new from them, so was pleased to find this in idaho. im not sure this was done with any fruit in it at all, but if all this orange and mango character is from hops alone, im super impressed! its an easy drinker for what it is, even though its a little stronger and has some haze to it, the relative dryness, fizzy feel, and bright fresh orange, tangerine, and clementine notes makes it refreshing and easy to crush. the citrus in this is really natural, makes me thinks it has to be done on oranges or something, but i dont think it is. they say aloha hops, which are new to me, or could just be a term to describe the flavors that come from several different varietals, i wish i knew. hints of fresh fleshy coconut, ripe mango, and cantaloupe are here as well, but its the orange citrus that dominates in nose and taste for me, maybe light lemongrass there too. simple grain base, medium body, clean fermentation, lots of life, summery flavors for sure, real low bitterness but not none. excellent brew, modern and well proportioned, delicious hop profile that i would love to know more about!
