Brewed with high-quality Vermont maple syrup and beechwood smoked barley, this big, rich barleywine was then aged for an extended period of time in American rye whiskey barrels. The result is a complex, malty ale with notes of smoke, maple, rye, vanilla, and oak.
This beer is one of AleSmith owner Peter Zien's most awarded home brew recipes, here rebrewed and barrel-aged in rye whiskey barrels for the 2019 Order of the Anvil club.
