On tap at Alesmith. Nose is really nice. The brandy comes through on the nose quite a bit, but not the maple barrels. Chocolate, sweet, dark fruit. Taste is a bit different - again not picking up on maple. Brandy and candy! Dark fruit. Light mouthfeel.

Lives up to it's name. Its very sweet and dessert centered but hey, thats sort of the idea, right? Smooth, rich, decadent and full of that amazing Alesmith barrel richness that everyone loves. Sold in 2-packs of 11.2 ox bottles, which is nice because its so rich and boozy (14%), the serving size is perfect.

Had on tap. This is one of those "everything but the kitchen sink" variants. Maple, chocolate fudge, maple, almonds, vanilla, coffee, brownie batter, earth, and the strange apple brandy shot in the nose and taste. Taste is heavier and can access the flavors together more where smell separates them out more. Still, overall impression is too much and too sweet to reach highest levels, overwhelms the palate over the long haul. Good, decadent, and heavy dessert

11 oz. bottle poured into a snifter.
Near black with a big light brown head. Great head retention.
Nose: Pretty similar to BA Speedway with some added maple and vanilla. Apple brandy barrel comes through as well towards the end.
Taste: Dark chocolate and coffee base. Interesting mix of vanilla, maple, apple brandy, and bitter almond building on the base. Somewhat lacking in direction at first but it really comes together as it warms. Finish is pretty balanced, not too sweet, very little alcohol presence.
Feel: Medium-light body, medium carbonation.
