Poured at fridge temp. Pours a murky dark brown with a slight layer of head. The nose is fantastic. It's bursting with toffee, honey, red wine, and lots of dark fruit. Definitely draws me in and makes me want to taste it!
The taste is amazing. Definitely getting the mead and madeira barrels. Port, sticky toffee, plums, figs, honey, brown sugar, oranges, and a slight earthy note on the back end. Maybe a hint of bitter oak.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a wonderful sweet aftertaste. It's funny, this is quite sweet, but not even close to the way some beers are too sweet. It's a real sweetness, one that comes from high-quality honey.

Oh man this is a jewel of gem that I never would have heard of let alone tried if weren't for @Beersnake1 who is absolutely the bee's knees for sending me this honey laden nectar. Amazingly the potent, sticky, delectable honey more than stands up to the sweet wine barrels. Beyond the honey and sweet grapes are honey roasted nuts, toffee, figs, dates, sweet oranges, and...more. The mouthfeel is full and sticky appropriately enough. Tim, thank you for this. I absolutely loved it, can't wait to read your thoughts.
