White, tight foam, lacing, gold color, translucent but not clear. overly muted smell and flavor. Check the canning date: 8/25/02, i.e. about 9 months ago even though I bought it off a store shelf only 2 months ago. My bad, I guess.

Pours a radiant clear dark yellow with thick, fluffy head.
Smell is fruity, crisp and a bit juicy and dank. Notes of citrus, pinepple, amngo and hints of pine and gummy candy.
Taste is fruity and crisp with a solid bitterness. Notes of citrus, pine, amngo, peach and green tea with some floral and spicy hints.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and sticky with good carbonation.
Overall, a great modern IPA, good mix of coasts.

This is a unique "west coast" style IPA in that to me it smells skunkier than usual.
It pours a dirty yellow and translucent with fine foam. The aroma, as I said, is more like a hazy IPA stench. It's a complex stink. The taste is a balance of malts and bittering, leaning on the less bitter side of things. It feels like more alcohol than it is.
Recommended. It's a nice AIPA, but maybe it would have been better fresher. I blame my vendor for selling me an 8-24-2022 as fresh.

Pours a golden yellow with a finger of foamy head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of citrus, pineapple, mango. Taste follows nose with some bitterness. Very nice.

Another tasty collaboration form Alesmith. Typical WCIPA with the appearance .nose and taste to back it up. This one is a bit lighter than I prefer but is eminently quaffable nonetheless.

It's good some things are rough around the edges but it is a tasty IPA imo. Better as it warms for sure. Has some nice starbursts notes going on I have noticed after drinking a few cans, nice bitterness. It's a little thin for my liking but that's ok. Finish is clean.

A nice looking pour, a shining medium gold with good head. Smells tropical, citrus, herbal, tastes somewhat light, herbal, grapefruit, pineapple, and has a nice hop zing on the back end. It’s also dry and crisp which figures for these two left coasters but eminently drinkable. It’s a nice, somewhat light IPA with good flavor and I really warmed up to it on the second one after I adjusted my expectations not higher or lower but for just something different than Alesmith’s legendary IPA, cheers!
