12 oz. can poured into a pint glass. The pour is deep straw/light golden, clear and bright and with a half inch of whitish foam. Aroma of lemony hops and some peppery spice but in a familiar way. No malt on the nose given the hop aromas.
Taste is light and malt lingers slightly then gives way to a finish controlled by the hop spice. Decent feel that becomes more full with warming and offers good carbonation through the glass. Overall good though a bit different vs. a German pils, but hey, it is a 'San Diego-Style Pilsner' so I guess that should be expected...

Canned 5/06/24, consumed from a pilsner glass 6/28/24. Pale yellow topped by voluminous white head of medium density, slowly receding and leaving decent amount of lacing. Carbonation rises from the glass bottom forever...till it is drained. Nice smell and flavor. A hind of lemon zest, some very mild hop bitterness, some biscuit. Very clean, dry finish. Highly drinkable. A very nice summer beer that could easily be consumed in great quantities.
