Cellared a year. Roasty black opaque body with a brown head. Smells of bourbon barrel with roasted malt and dark chocolate. Taste adds earthy and charred tones. Feel is a bit basic as the barrel is not deep at all, roasted malt is classic though. All around good stout but want more barrel

Let's dispense with the niceties, witticisms, & details.
This is a barrel aged stout.
It's thick, it's black, there's bourbon with some attendant malty chocolate, heaviness, & a touch of chalk. Easy enough to drink that I'm going through 750ML all alone (sniffles). But despite my respect for this legendary brewery, this is a pretty par effort. Good brew.
