Tall pint poured into a pilsner glass:

Cola brown-black with a solid couple of fingers of a fluffy, brown-tinged head. A pleasant roasty, malty smell wafts from the glass. The taste follows. There is a noticeable sweetness up front that is then backed up by the more expected roasty, bitter quality. Would prefer less of the former. The body is also a touch light, too, and not much carbonation. Soft, thick, oily for sure. The bitter aftertaste is pleasant and lingers well.

Copenhagen 16/11 2025. 47,3 cl can from DrikBeer web-shop. AleSmith's usual brand design for their Coffee and beer series with an off-white can with two cartoonish characters - one a cup of coffee, one a can of beers.

Pours clear dark mahogany with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as a thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor with a touch of sugar mingling with a moderately strong sourish scent. Dark malts, brown sugar, chocolate and a whiff of waffles. Coffee and sour grains.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick. oily, soft, lightly angling texture.

flavor is fairly intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is biter. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.

Well balanced with a nice bitter touch.

Nice roasty malt and roasty coffee aroma and flavor. Good balanced flavors. Fairly light bodied with a nice dry roasty finish. Sessionable.
