On tap at O'Briens night of a million zillion speedway's

Look: Typical speedway

Smell: Lots of roasted coffee on the nose. The roast is so powerful it hides a lot of the base beer

Taste: Similar to the nose and this variation of speedway is far more coffee forward than the others. This one was lacking the typical speedway balance but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing

Mouthfeel: Full body and low carbonation

Overall: Good variation but not my favorite. If you really like roasted coffee forward beers you will love this one

On Tap

Night of a Million Zillion Speedways
O'Brien's Pub
San Diego, CA

Dark as night black with brown edges, thin head but the body of this beer is just spectacular. It's thick and oily and leaves the glass absolutely covered in sticky lace. Thick as can be and dark as night. Spectacular.

Lots of authentic, roasted coffee bean aroma with some mild chocolate.

This wasn't a particularly transformed variation of Speedway, though that's not at all a bad thing. This variation had significant roasted coffee flavor, far more typical coffee notes than the Vietnamese coffee version.

Medium to thick mouthfeel with low carbonation.

Another wonderful variation with lots of authentic, coffee bean aroma.
