Purchased at Bound Beverage, Warrington, PA. Part of a mixed 4pk, 16oz can
Pours a deep, dark black color. Zero light shining through this brew. A one finger, tan head on the initial pour.
Aromas of chocolate.
A decadent, chocolate flavored stout. Flavors of dark, bitter chocolate, coffee, deep roasted malts and caramel. Slightly bitter, dry aftertaste. The ABV is lurking but isn’t dominant in the flavor profile.
Creamy, rich consistency with low carbonation.
Overall, a really tasty stour with a definite chocolate profile. Smooth drinking, dessert style brew…cheers!

Pours opaque darkness with a huge stiff light brown collar that fades slowly leaving sheets of lacing. Sweet nutty dough and dry dark chocolate fudge malt NECCO wafer in the nose. That doughiness reveals itself as a proud Grandmother’s own buttery pecan pie crust blended well with her most loving chocolate chip cookies. A creamy full bodied milkshake texture magnifies the flavors and they linger really nicely. A corner of the envelope opportunity via Tavour. Alesmith in a can that buries the business model that your seat is more important than what they pour in your glass.

Purchased on 2/3/26 in a can from 10/8/25. Pour into a pint glass is a dark mahogany with a one finger chocolate lace. Good retention and impressive lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malts with chocolate and some nuttiness. Nice malty flavor with chocolate, vanilla, coffee and pecan. Booziness does not come through and not as sweet as expected - nice! Flavors emerge as it warms. Speedway Stout is one of my favorite beers, but first time trying this series. Excellent beer!

16 ounce can, canned 10/08/2025. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head that stayed around for a long time. There's also a good amount of lacing. The brew smells like pecans, vanilla, cacao nibs, roasted malt, coffee and some breadiness. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also the addition of some caramel and milk chocolate flavors. Tastes sweeter than it smells. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit creamy and coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. This one is certainly worth picking up if you come across some!

All good. Nothing overpowering. Not to sweet or dry. Flavors are nice and carbonation is perfect. But then not really stellar either.

The pour is typical Speedway, very dark, medium brown short head and sparse lacing.
The taste is espresso forward and cacao, some nut that isn’t a peanut. I’ll assume pecan. But I don’t get pecan pie, chocolate or not. The present bitter is nice.
The feel is nicely viscous, not too different from regular Speedway.
OA, maybe the best of this years Grand Prix offerings.

Canned 2025/10/08
Pours a rich foamy brown head with good retention, sticky lacing, decent legs, jet black color
Nose brings some base stout thankfully, but not much, roasted malt and cocoa, lots of vanilla, lots of chocolate, coffee and roasted malt, vanilla fudge and icing
Taste brings loads of vanilla again, real and artificial, a bit of pecan nutty notes, a bit of roasted stout and coffee, a bit of the base beer but not much, again the bitterness gets rampant and overbearing, lots of random spices, almost like mincemeat pie spices
Mouth is full bod, med carb, plenty of booze
Overall slightly better than the others but still undrinkable

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing nearly opaque in the glass with a two finger milk chocolate head with good retention and slippery solid lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, milk chocolate, pecan, light vanilla and coffee. Flavor is dark toasted malt with light char, bakers chocolate, toasted pecans, vanilla and drip coffee. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess. An excellent use of chocolate and pecan in a big stout. The chocolate is excellent and melds with the coffee with some bitterness that could come from either source. Nice pecan notes too, but in the background. Not getting much pie crust, but probably that would be true with an actual pie made from a lot of quality chocolate and pecans; genuine chocolate flavor is the big star here. This series is always nice, this one is exceptional, probably because of the harmony of the flavors. My favorite one this year.
