S- aroma is primarily banana pudding with a creamy vanilla compliment, followed by the base beer that adds dark chocolate, char, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon and a hint of coffee
T- sweet banana pudding up front with creamy vanilla to follow. Mid-palate brings out dark chocolate, char, roasted coffee & caramel. The finish gives more banana pudding, cinnamon and dark chocolate. Lingers of banana and roast

Part of a mixed 4pk of imperial stouts from Alesmith.
Pours a deep brown, mostly opaque color with a one finger tannish head.
Aromas of coffee and maybe a slight banana aroma.
The initial sip greets you with a semi-sweet chocolate flavor mixed with coffee, deep roasted malts, vanilla and as the brew warms up, the banana flavor is noticeable. A dry, bitter aftertaste. The ABV is well hidden.
A smooth, slightly viscous consistency with low carbonation.
Overall, another good, dessert-style stout. Very tasty…cheers!

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque in the glass with a one finger dark khaki head with great retention and slippery lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, banana, vanilla, light coffee and a hint of cocoa. Flavor follows with banana, vanilla, coffee and a little cocoa; light bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess. Less sweet than I expected and the banana is well handled. Although the banana is dominant in the aroma and a clear, upfront flavor in the taste, it is well balanced with the coffee and malt flavor. The coffee is a clearer note than in most of these "pie" variants and may contribute to the bitterness in the finish, which is also a bit higher than most of this series. I think these pie stouts are a little gimmicky, but I liked them; this might be my favorite one.

16 ounce can, canned on 10/09/2025. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stuck around for a while. Decent amount of lacing. The brew smells like banana, vanilla, roasted malt, cream and some coffee. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but the banana is artificial tasting, more like banana candy or syrup than a fresh banana. Luckily it doesn't hurt the beer too much, but it does bug me a bit. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and a bit syrupy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Thought this one was OK, but just not quite on par with most other Speedway Stout variants I've had in the past. With that being said it's worth a try if you get the chance.

The pour is standard Speedway black with a medium brown head that left very sparse lacing.
The taste was curiously coffee forward (for Speedway that’s a good thing) and almost bitter. Any banana is, for my palate, lost in translation. I think I got vanilla, but not the soft, sweet version.
The feel is typical Speedway, which I enjoy.
OA, not what I expected, but enjoyed it more than if it was overly sweet and banana flavored.

Canned 2025/10/09
Pours a foamy brown 1/2 finger head with moderate retention, sticky lacing, decent legs, jet black color
Nose brings a lot of banana and vanilla cream, very little chocolate and roast, hard to get anything else
Taste again brings a lot of banana up front, so much banana, fairly sweet, with some vanilla cream and cinnamon like spices , mild coffee and roasted malts, then bitterness kicks in hard and clashes like crazy, very little base stout coming through
Mouth is full bod, rich chewy, med carb, fair warming tingly booze
Overall bleh, way too much fake banana flavor, very little of the base beer left, and a big clashing bitterness, basically undrinkable

On draught at the Barley Mow.
A dark brew with a thin head, little lacing.
Malt forward, banana cream, sweet vanilla, coffee.
A flavor in the background reminiscent of bourbon barrel aging. A little bit cloying.

Pours with a short, brown-sugar head with sticky finger lace on the glass. Banana is quite soft on the pallet. No where near as sweet as I was expecting. Very easy to drink.
