Pours nearly as dark as the Black IIPA. Smells faintly of black cherries. Tastes balanced; not too sweet, sour, or bitter but a fantastic mix off all three; reminds me of a black forest cake but without the sweetness. Has a good mouthfeel and is overall very good.
