500 ml bottle into a snifter.

Pours a dark brown, mostly opaque, with a small head and some soapy lacing. The smell is lightly roasted malts, chocolate, light yeast, a little vanilla, a slight spicy aroma- cinnamon? Maybe, maybe not. Taste also leads with roasted malts, strong dark chocolate, some coffee, a little vanilla, light bitterness on the finish. Smooth. creamy, fairly full bodied for a lower ABV RIS.

Really enjoyed this, a very solid Russian Imperial stout for the lower ABV. An easy drinker. Well worth trying, wish I had another.

Taste: dark roasty chocolate malts, molasses and smoother than some others.
Toasted malt sugars nose. Black/brown and mostly opaque, with a very refined soft head, nice lace on taster glass.
Full but not heavy body. 65 IBUs

Pours a dark brown color that looks pitch black in the glass. Impressive sturdy meringue head of tan foam that coats the glass with lacing. The foam settles after a couple minutes, but the surface doesn't break.

Aroma is subtle but pleasant enough, mild roast malt, bakers chocolate and yeast.
Taste is more assertive, rich and malty, roasty with a light dry bitterness in the aftertaste.
Dry bakers chocolate, mild dark roast coffee, hint of yeast esters, creamy feel, medium bodied.
Overall a great RIS, easy to drink, not overly sweet and flavorful. Good job guys.

Poured rather aggressively into a snifter at cellar temp. Color is pitch black with a thin tan head that dissipates into a ring around the glass and then disappears altogether after sitting awhile.

Aroma is bitter chocolate, espresso and dark fruits

Flavor is of roasted malt, bitter chocolate, and molasses with a bit of heat on the back end.

medium carbonation, medium bodied (would have liked it to be just a bit fuller in body) with a dry finish

Overall an above average stout, but would like to see a bit fuller body and a bit more boldness in the flavor
