The City Porter is a traditional English porter historically brewed for the hard working porters along the English ship channels. This rich and deeply colored ale is brewed with English malts and American hops. This combination provides a medium-body, with light chocolate and coffee notes. The refreshingly clean finish makes for the perfect after-work companion.

Had this at Little Woodrows in EADO before an Astros game. Excellent porter I really enjoyed it.

Poured on draught into a pint glass. Appearance is very dark with a good one to two finger thick head. Flavors are subtle and well balanced with a nice dark malt backbone. There are some leathery notes that are quite nice. Carbonation is a bit high but makes the beer very drinkable. This is a solid offering from Town in City.

Had a 32oz growler filled at the Hop Stop in Humble, TX. I have not been to the actual brewery. Pours dark, smells great, tastes great. A very good porter and will probably be one of my go-to porters from now on.
