Had it on tap at a local place. It looks good, light yellow, slightly hazy. Smells really good with lots of citrus and pine. And then comes the big let down, it doesn't taste anything like it smells. Very unbalanced, too dry, leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. Its drinkable but there's much better choices.

On tap at the brewery, 8/12/15. Color is nice and hazy. Aroma implies tropical/citrus hops. Taste doesn't quite deliver that though, and a chalkiness on the finish leads to a real let-down. Malty finish. Overall this needs work. It's on the right path, but the chalkiness and imbalance turned me away.

On tap at the brewery in Houston TX. This is a "White IPA" which is to say it has a bit of wheat that is balanced with an IPA.
A: Pours a cloudy/hazed straw/yellow color. I love the bright hazy color here. A dense two finger white head forms with good retention. Patchy lace is left behind.
S: Citrus hops up front with some grapefruit, even lemon rind. Very bright fruity aromas, along with a bit of husky wheat, grains, and bread. A lingering hoppy bitterness lingers. Very enjoyable.
T: Again, the bright and enjoyable fruit flavors shine. Citrus and lemon rind, with a light grapefruit bitterness lingering. The malts and wheat make this really balanced as well. Bread and biscuit, then a dry bitterness lingers. Really well done and balanced.
M/O: A light to medium body. Effervescent, super clean, and dry. I could have had several pints with ease. Really enjoyable to drink.
Well balanced with plenty of character, very moreish..yeah that is good. Very enjoyable. Hopefully they make this more often than just for their opening, or for White Linen Night. It would be a shame to not have access to this really enjoyable offering.
