On tap at the brewery.
A: Pours a slightly hazed burnt orange color, which becomes mostly clear as this warms. A one finger white head forms and sticks throughout as a small cap. Not much lace is left behind.
S: Toasted malts, lager yeast, and finishes with an almost spicy hoppy character. Grassy, floral, and a little bitter in the finish. Simple, but really enjoyable.
T: Love the toasted malts and lager yeast even more here. Light crackers, and some grains. Then the spicy, hoppy finish that brings everything together. Lightly grassy, lightly floral with a touch of bitterness. Excellent.
M/O: A light to medium body. Really well carbonated that crisp and smooth at the same time. The hoppy dryness in the finish is a plus, and incredibly clean. Really enjoyable overall, something I want to keep coming back to, and I hope is more than a one off.
I have had some chalkiness in the mouthfeel with some of their beers. This is really clean though. Which is a great sign. A wonderful example of the style, that is simple but very welcoming. Well done.

My first beer at this new brewery that's been open roughly a month. Well done, folks. Very true to style, distinguishable from the pack (small though it may be) by some intense spicy notes. This makes me eager to try more of their brews.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
