A: Pours a dark brown, nearly black color. At first a two finger tan head forms, but recedes in a second with light lace left behind.
S: Some roast, some coffee, even a bit of chocolate. Oily coconut comes next and takes over. While not bad at all, just becomes a little one noted after a while.
T: At first, all the roast flavors are there. Coffee and chocolate, then becomes really sweet and of coarse big coconut flavors. Again, this is not bad, and they certainly hit what they were aiming for. Though it becomes cloying and too one noted for me to really enjoy this.
M/O: A medium body with moderate carbonation. Slick and oily from the coconut, which does not mesh well for me. A one a done for me, but not bad to try that once.
I am not sure if I really like coconut as an adjunct/flavoring? While interesting to try once, and I think the brewers made what they wanted, this becomes to much of a novelty for me to keep coming back to. Though, Town in City doesn't seem to do anything new anymore, just flavor additives on their core lineup. Which gets a little old for me.
