Opalescent yellow, one finger of a just decent white foam.
At the smell the saffron, extreme, covers all the rest.
In the taste, too, too much saffron, with some maltiness background.
Not bad per se, but too monotone on the saffron. In the end, quite boring.

Belgian, special blonde ale in a 330ml bottle, marketed in Greece and Belgium for the time being and produced by a Belgian NGO using Greek saffron.
Appearance: Big white head, fizzy; blond color.
Smell: Some hops at first, but quickly inundated by smell of Greek saffron.
Taste: Saffron, floral; mostly malty character counter-balanced by some bitterness.
Body: Fizzy, medium body, lightly oily texture.
Drinkability: An interesting experiment in beer but the saffron smell (of which I'm not a big fan anyhow) is a bit overwhelming for my liking.
