Larnaka 23/7 2017. 50 cl can from A. & J. Juliet Minimarket. Blue can with the head of Hermes, a Greek flag surrounded by Corn Ears and a declaration about this beer being Premium Quality.
Pours clear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor with some sour grains peeking in. Touch of butter. Sweet pale malts, bread and cardboard. Sour, sharp grainy scent. Touch of citrus concentrate.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by lighter bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a little sugary caramel and a hint of skunkiness.
An alternative take on Premium Quality.
