a very cloudy but really tasty single hopped hazy ipa, one of the many hoppy beers they had on tap at this cool little brewery when i visited. this is whitewashed looking, a little dense but incredibly pale and starchy, itd look a bit sloppy, but a tall creamy white head hangs on top and gives it some life. the hops in this are awesome, a really nice showcase of this varietal, which seems to rarely get its due in beers like this. heavy canned pineapple, tangerine, and floral white tea notes to this in aroma and flavor, super juicy and fresh, not green or bitey or overdosed to me at all, but still very pungent, more refined than it looks for sure. things like meyer lemon, lemongrass, and white grape come in here too, very fruity and not all citrus, a pretty clean fermentation profile helps dry it out and make it more drinkable too, not as heavy in body as it looks either. good carbonation, some resins on the tongue from the hops, and some obvious wheat in the mash giving it a sort of creamy mouthfeel. this is solid ipa, really modern and good, and a great showcase of azacca. impressive first beer from this place for me, nicely done overall, close to excellent.
