Served On Draft
A — Pours a dark ruby brown, not quite black, little bit of a puffy off-white colored head forms on top and leaves behind some OK lacing with each sip.
S — Smell is roasted, strong, bitter, coffee, chocolate, and a harmonious bitter nearly acrid bitter note of earth and piney hops.
T — Bitter and roasted, bitter dark chocolate, espresso, coffee, on top of a hoppy and bitter pine note
M — Medium bodied, lingering finish.
O — OK overall, not enough of a hop balance, really focused on dark roasted malts.
